As autumn approaches, the strain on drainage systems increases. Rain, leaves and soil can quickly cause sand traps and drains to become blocked, posing a risk of flooding and damage to both roads and property.

A sand trap acts as a filter in the drainage system. It collects soil, gravel, sand and other sediment that would otherwise cause blocked pipes or damage further down the system. To ensure the sand trap functions optimally, it is important to empty it regularly.

Vitek Miljø is investing heavily in high-pressure washing and super-suction. Among other things, we can boast the most powerful suction excavators in Western Norway, and there are several exciting new developments on the horizon in our vehicle fleet.

We’re particularly looking for people with an interest in large vehicles with powerful washing and suction capabilities. You’re a problem-solver who’s motivated by finding ways to use our vehicles and equipment to solve difficult cases for our customers.

We are looking for someone who is interested in technology, keen to learn, has plenty of drive and can make a positive contribution to the working environment.

• A Class C driving licence or higher is required. Preferably YSK.
• An interest in technology and a desire to develop within the field are essential
• You realise that keeping your car and equipment in good condition is the key to success
• A vocational qualification or apprenticeship certificate from a vocational training programme in transport or mechanics is desirable. Applicants with a background in transport, the building trades, or mechanical and technical disciplines will be given priority.
• You must be proficient in Norwegian as a working language – both in writing and speaking
• You are a good representative of the company when dealing with our customers
• You are committed to your own safety and that of your colleagues, and contribute to health, safety and environmental (HSE) work
• You are prepared to work long days when necessary
• Last but not least: you take pride in delivering high-quality work
